Kurt Manufacturing Appointed Exclusive Western Hemisphere

Distributor For Leader Chuck MMY MultiChuck Clamping Systems

Minneapolis, Minnesota: Kurt Manufacturing Company, Industrial Products Division, announced that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Leader Chuck Systems Ltd. of Birmingham, England to market the Leader Chuck MMY MultiChuck Concentric Clamping Systems in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America.

The announcement was made jointly by Mr. Mark Jones, managing director of Leader Chuck Systems Ltd. and Mr. Steve Kane, global sales and marketing manager for Kurt. The agreement is effective January 1, 2010 with the Leader MultiChuck MMY product line to be marketed through an exclusive Kurt distributor dealer network.

The Leader MultiChuck MMY product line consists of manual self-centering static workholding for machining centers, milling machines and grinders. These products integrate with Kurt’s high density workholding towers and other devices to provide the ultimate in high productivity and high precision workholding.

“Adding the Leader MultiChuck MMY System to Kurt’s high density workholding offerings gives our customers more options in designing the highest productivity workholding for their machines,” stated Mr. Kane for Kurt. “Our vise customers are looking for ways to expand their machine output and Leader MultiChuck MMY products have a proven track record of award-winning performance for many years throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.”
